City of Anacortes 2023 Levy Lid Lift: Public Safety Staffing | City of Anacortes
The City is seeking individuals interested in serving on a committee either for or against Proposition 1, a ballot initiative which would provide a one-time levy lid lift to provide funding for eight additional firefighter/medics and five additional police officers in the City of Anacortes.
The ballot measure will be on the April 25, 2023, special election ballot.
The City must provide Skagit County Elections the names of individuals wanting to write for and against statements for Proposition 1 by February 24, 2023.
Statements for and against the proposition are due by March 3, 2023, with an opportunity to provide a rebuttal to the other side by March 8, 2023.
